Texturing & Modelling Weekend …

This weekend I tried some basic modelling and more realistic texturing.
Both pictures are rendered with physical renderer in cranked up progressive mode and
standard renderer. Later I combined both pictures in Photoshop to get more details out.
The lightning for the grenade is done with Nick’s OfficeRoom Studio from the HDRI LightKitPro
and the wood texture I used Rob Redman’s textures from the TEXTURE KIT.

But to be honest, I can use more help (Tutorials / Lessons) on realistic texturing. Anyone … ???
